About Barjes

I didn't build my business to live life around it. So why are you?

Like you, I’m a self-made business owner. I also have a life that extends far beyond what my clients may see. Among other things, I have a wife, kids, and a passion for Ju Jitsu. I’m committed to living my life to the fullest – no exceptions – and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to do the same.

Barjes About Hero

What my father taught me informs every decision I make and every client I serve. It isn’t my abilities as a financial advisor that set me apart in the industry – any advisor can sell life insurance or a financial plan. For me, wealth is not a number on a balance sheet, it’s the freedom to live a life aligned with who you are and who you aspire to become.

My priority is in ensuring that my clients' personal and financial aspirations are seamlessly integrated. Whether it’s securing a stable future, supporting the growth of a business, or preparing for life’s uncertainties, my proprietary approach helps clients align their finances with their vision of the life they want to lead.

BARJES’ DAD

Stay the course.

“You’ve experienced tens, perhaps hundreds, of retirements. I’m only doing it once.”

When a client said this to me, it helped me understand my true role for those I work with: mentorship. My goal isn’t just to guide clients toward success but to provide the accountability and structure needed to stay the course, even when motivation fails or a scarcity mindset creeps in.

For over two decades – over countless clients, many mentees (advisors as well as Ju Jitsu students) and more than a few meaningful speaking opportunities – Barjes’ philosophy has remained simple and realistic: money is a tool for living a meaningful, fulfilling life. Because at the end of the day, money is only as meaningful as the life it fulfills.
